I notice that, since Goonswarm have been suffering some horrific combat losses recently, they've started playing the 'we're only noobs in t1 frigs' card again to justify the fact that they seem to need 2x - 4x the numbers of their opponent to fight.
This intrigued me as, to be honest, I'm pretty sick to death of Goons pretending to be heroic nooblings, fighting against the odds. So I thought I'd do a bit of research, and take a look at the last 10 players killed by GS, and the last 10 killers.
Makes interesting reading...

So seriously, Goons, there's only so long you can try to keep this little bit of propaganda going. I know even GS pilots know not to trust a word a Goon says (anyone else remember their vow to leave the game en masse, taking huge amounts of subscription revenue with them when they had their little forum tantrum?) but I thought it was time to dispel this particular goon myth.
The vast majority of your combat pilots have perfectly good equipment, perfectly good skills, and a clearly just pretty inept.

^^ Thank god we've got Goons in the game to raise the standard of the forums... Anyone else remember when we used to have a game community to be proud of?

Nothing to do with KD ratio, so stop trying to derail yet another thread with pointless catchphrases. Nothing to do with omgthegoonsarelosing.
It's to do with the self-propogated myth that Goons are low skillpoint, low equipment cost pilots.

No, it was a community that didn't mock the dead, didn't launch smear campaigns to attempt to destroy the game for all players because they'd been found out as liars, and didn't then spam the forums with racist images and illegal content when they got in a huff.

Unfortunately, your smack doesn't stick. Not an alt my dear chap. Is it your assumption that only people with a BoB alliance ticker loathe what the goons have done to the game? If so, you're painfully misguided.

No, my contempt for Goons is because of their attempts to sabotage the game I love simply because they were found out. Because of their deliberate mocking of a dead man. Because of the racist and illegal material they spammed all over our forums. Because of their active, co-ordinated attempt to kill off the future of Eve through external sites. I think that's reason enough.
